The Water Quality Service provides maps showing water quality over select areas in Canada. Users can access current and historical maps of water quality as observed by NOAA AVHRR data. This service is funded by the Canadian Space Agency . The maps are produced by Noetix Research Inc. in cooperation with Greg McCullough (CEOS) and Mike Stainton (DFO). Preprocessing software for AVHRR data has been provided by the EMS Section of CCRS (Rasim Latifovic and Alexander Trishchenko).
