The Floe Edge Service by the Polar View provides image maps showing the floe edge over select regions in the Arctic. Users can access current and historical image maps of the floe edge as observed from high spatial resolution radar and optical satellite sensors. Polar View is a Global Monitoring for Environment and Security project funded by the European Space Agency. Imagery is provided by the European Space Agency, Radarsat International, NASA, and the Canadian Space Agency. The Image Maps are produced by Noetix Research Inc. in collaboration with the Canadian Ice Service of Canada.
